Neurodiversity Expert, Nurse, Mother
Rochelle brings a rich and diverse background to her work with children and families. She originally studied Education and Psychology before completing a Master of Nursing, specialising in Child & Family Health. Her career has spanned the disability, health, mental health, and education sectors, giving her a broad perspective on child development and well-being. Currently, Rochelle works in private practice, supporting children with neurodiverse needs and their parents. As a mother of two daughters, a teenager and a pre-teen, her personal experience has deeply shaped her professional work. Her elder daughter is neurodiverse, and Rochelle herself faced challenges with sensory sensitivities and a speech delay as a child, all of which has fuelled Rochelle’s commitment to understanding and advocating for children with unique ways of learning and experiencing the world. With both academic insight and lived experience, Rochelle offers compassionate, practical guidance to parents raising neurodiverse children.
